To ensure good reception, keep the clock away from all electromagnetic
sources (TV, computer, microwave, etc.). Radio reception is weaker in rooms
with concrete walls (in cellars, for example) or in metal-frame buildings. In
these cases, place the clock near the window.
If a signal is not received within 7 minutes, the search for a signal will stop (the
radio aerial symbol will disappear from the screen).
In the event of poor reception, your clock will automatically trigger another
search at 1am (the time at which there is the least interference). At 1am, the
clock automatically synchronises with the DCF signal to correct any variance
with the exact time. If synchronisation fails (the radio aerial symbol will
disappear from the screen), the system will automatically run another
synchronisation session on the next hour. This procedure is repeated
automatically every hour until 5 am.
Note: when the clock is in signal receiving mode, none of the buttons will
function. You can stop the search for a radio signal manually during the radio-
controlled signal receiving procedure by pressing the
stop flashing. You can go ahead with other settings, the buttons will now
function.
