4 CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE

GUARANTEE PERIOD
Caberg S.p.A. guarantees that the CABERG JUST SPEAK® kit and
accessories purchased by the consumer at an authorized Caberg S.p.A.
retailer conform to the product specifi cations and are free from faults and
defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase of the products,
as envisaged by Art. 132 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005.
PROCEDURE FOR ACTIVATING THE GUARANTEE AND REPORTING
FAULTS OR DEFECTS
As soon as the defect is discovered, and however within the compulsory term
of sixty (60) days from its discovery, the consumer must send, at his own
expense and on his own responsibility, the product to the authorized retailer
from whom it was purchased, together with the Guarantee Card (found at
the bottom of this booklet) duly fi lled in and stamped by the retailer. It should
be sent together with the original sales receipt. The product complete with
all accessories or parts, including batteries and battery charger, cables
and original packaging, must be returned to the Caberg S.p.A. retailer. The
authorized retailer will send the product to Caberg S.p.A., together with the
documentation stated above.
REPAIRS UNDER GUARANTEE
Caberg S.p.A., pursuant to and for the purposes of Art. 130 Italian Legislative
Decree no. 206/2005, shall proceed to repair or replace the product,
deciding between the two remedies according to the following criteria:
• value of the item without the declared defect;
• extent of the defect;
• possibility that one of the two alternative remedies may be easily carried
out without signifi cant inconvenience to the consumer.
The repair, at the discretion of the manufacturer, may include software
updating and the replacement of components or cards with other new or
repaired components or cards with equivalent features. The components,
accessories, batteries or cards replaced will be guaranteed for the remaining

original guarantee period, and the total guarantee period of two (2) years
from the date of purchase, cannot be in any way extended or lengthened.
When the product has been repaired or replaced, Caberg S.p.A. will send it
back to the authorized retailer who will organize delivery to the consumer.
EXTENT OF GUARANTEE AND EXEMPTIONS
This guarantee only covers product conformity faults and defects, and has
no effect if these defects are caused by damage, incorrect use, negligence,
carelessness, modifi cations or repairs not carried out by Caberg S.p.A. or
Stilo S.r.l. The guarantee does not cover any problems arising from normal
wear and tear or deterioration of the products and their accessories.
In particular:
1. This guarantee does not cover any faults caused by improper use not
conforming with normal operation in accordance with the product
operating and maintenance instructions;
2. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover defects of the product arising
from fortuitous events, modifi cations or adjustments, causes of force
majeure or damage arising from contact with liquids;
3. Malfunctions due to the telephone system;
4. The guarantee will not cover faults in the system due to the use of non-
original accessories or other devices;
5. Tampering with the product's electronic card will invalidate the guarantee;
6. This guarantee does not included consumable parts subject to wear and
tear, such as the battery.
The duration in conversation mode, in stand-by and the lifespan of the
rechargeable batteries for the intercom system depend on conditions of
use. As with all perishable goods, the specifi cations indicate that the best
battery performance can only and exclusively be obtained in the fi rst six (6)
months after purchase.
The guarantee covering the batteries will not apply if recharge operations
