In hand-held mode
 Press the button to release the hand-held cleaner.
 Remove the hand-held cleaner from the main cleaner.
 Insert the crevice tool or dusting brush into the suction mouth of the hand-held cleaner.
 Press the on/off button to begin vacuuming.
