4.6 Preparing kitchen unit

In the case of thin worktops, there must be a
sufficiently rigid support plate on the unit.
The back wall of the floor unit must be adapted for
the air duct.
The drawers and/or shelves in the floor unit must be
removable.
For correct installation, the drawers of the floor unit
must be shortened depending on the installation
situation.
Bottom panel of the floor unit must be cut for the air
duct, according to the picture below and depending
on the installation situation.
In case of worktop depth bigger than 600 mm, it is
possible to use the telescopic extension, in order to
save more space for the drawers.
The extension part is telescopic, from 90 to 130 mm.
Ensure proper air ventilation for the installed cooktop.
An air gap of at least 5 mm between the underside of
the
countertop
drawer/bezel is mandatory to prevent performance
losses. The built-in situation of the cooktop in the
cabinet affects the capability of the cooktop. The
integrated cooling unit needs sufficient cold air at the
inlets to avoid early derating.
