Store brushes in a suitable place in such a way that they
are protected against the following influences:
- high atmospheric humidity, heat, wear or other fluids
which could damage the brush.
- acids or acid vapours, which could damage the brush.
- low ambient temperatures causing condensation on
the brush when stored in an area with higher ambient
temperatures.
- deformation of whatever part of the brush.
BEFORE USE
•
Check the functioning of the tool before each use and
after any impact; in case of a defect, have it repaired
immediately by a qualified person (never open the tool
yourself).
•
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning
the power tool on (a wrench or a key left attached
to a rotating part of the power tool may result in
personal injury).
•
Before use, thoroughly inspect the cutting area and
remove any object that the tool may sling during cutting
(such as stones, loose pieces of wood, etc.).
DURING USE
•
Only use the tool in a vertical position, with the brush
pointing to the ground (never switch on the tool in
another position).
•
Operate the tool at a walking pace only (do not run).
•
Do not cross roads or gravel paths with the tool still
running.
•
Do not get distracted and always concentrate on what
you are doing.
•
Always ensure that the ventilation openings are kept
clear of debris.
•
In case of electrical or mechanical malfunction,
immediately switch off the tool and remove the battery.
AFTER USE
•
The brush continues to rotate for a short time after the
tool is switched off (do not touch the rotating brush).
Always remove the battery from the tool.
•

Before you put down the tool, switch off the motor and
ensure that all moving parts have come to a complete
standstill.
BATTERIES
•
The battery supplied is partially charged (to ensure
full capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery
in the battery charger before suing your power tool for the
first time).

Only use the following batteries and chargers with
this tool

Do not use the battery when damaged; it should be

Battery protection
The tool is suddenly being switched off or prevented from

- the load is too high -> remove load and restart
- the battery temperature is not within the allowable
operating temperature range of -20 to +50

within the allowable operating temperature range
- the battery is nearly empty (to protect against
deep discharge) –> a low battery level or flashing low
battery level eb is shown by the battery level indicator
when pressing butto>n M; charge battery
! do not continue to press the on/off switch after the
tool is switched off automatically; battery may be
damaged

- mount and lock the wheel H onto motor housing with
the fastening screw J as illustrated r
- slide guard L over motor housing as illustrated until it

spindle-lock button R to tighten the nut by the wrench N

! when using collet & nut V make sure to clean the
inside of the ouput spindle before mounting the
brush
! use protective gloves when installing or changing
accessories (contact with the accessory can lead
to injuries)

- loosen the locking sleeve F
! when using tool for the first time, rotate rear
handle A 90°after loosening locking sleeve F
- extend the telescopic tube G to the desired height
- tighten the locking sleeve F
