1. Insert the MICROPHONE STAND & BASE CONNECTOR in the base.
2. Insert the WIDER OUTER POLE into the microphone stand & base connector.
3. Insert the UPPER POLE by aligning the grooves.
4. Turn the HEIGHT ADJUSTING KNOB in anti-clockwise direction to loosen the joint,
then adjust the microphone stand to desired height (95-120 cm), tighten it up by
turning the knob in clockwise direction.
5. Place the HEIGHT ADJUSTER COLLAR on top of the upper pole and insert the
hand held microphone into the MICROPHONE HOLDER.
6. Plug the hand held microphone cord into the HAND HELD MICROPHONE
SOCKET.
Caution
- To avoid "Feedback" noise, please place the microphone as far from the speaker as
possible.

3.1. AV out via camera
Video Stage Microphone connects directly to your TV. This connection allows you to
TRANSMIT live audio and video directly to your TV.
3.2. Connecting to a VCR or TV/VCR (DVD) combo
Video Stage Microphone connects directly to your VCR (DVD) or TV/VCR Combo.
This connection allows you to RECORD live audio and video to your VCR (DVD) while
it's transmitted to your TV.
Adult needed to connect Video Stage Microphone to TV or VCR (DVD).

Connecting to a TV with audio/video input.
4.1. Turn off power to your TV and Video Stage Microphone.
4.2. Connect your video Stage Microphone to the TV using the attached AV cable.
Match the color-coded cords to the appropriate jacks on the TV. The yellow video
cable should plug into the VIDEO IN jack on the TV. The red audio cable should plug
into the AUDIO in white or red jack on the TV.
*4.3. Helpful Hints:
If your TV does not have AV sockets, but has a SCART input instead, then it should
be possible to connect the Video Stage Microphone via a "3 phono to SCART" lead,
which can be obtained from most catalogue shops or electrical retailers.
Alternatively, if your VCR (DVD) has AV sockets you should be able to use these to
connect your Video Stage Microphone.

5.1. Turn on your TV, Video Stage Microphone and slide the power switch of
Camera to "ON", then press mute or lower the volume of your TV to eliminate from
your TV speakers.
5.2. Press the TV/VIDEO "SOURCE" or "INPUT" button on your TV or its remote
control until you find the image from your Video Stage Microphone.
NOTE: Sometimes this mode must be selected via TV's menu system. Refer to your
TV's owners manual.

Connecting to a VCR (DVD) or TV/VCR (DVD) with audio/video input
6.1. Turn off power to your TV, VCR (DVD) and the Video Stage Microphone.
6.2. Connect the Video Stage Microphone to your VCR (DVD) or combo using the
attached AV cable. Match the color-coded cords to the appropriate jacks on the VCR
(DVD). The yellow video cable should plug into the VIDEO IN jack on the VCR (DVD).
The red audio cable should plug into the AUDIO IN white or red jack on the VCR (DVD).
Helpful Hints:
If your TV/VCR (DVD) does not have AV sockets, but has a SCART input instead, then
it should be possible to connect the Video Stage Microphone via a "SCART PLUG",
which can be obtained from most catalogue shops or electrical retailers.
Alternatively, if your VCR (DVD) has AV sockets you should be able to use these to
connect your Video Stage Microphone.
Find our broadcasted image on your TV.
6.3. Turn on your Video Stage Microphone and switch the "Camera" button to "ON"
position and TV. Press mute or lower the volume on your TV to eliminate feedback
from your TV speakers.
Make sure your TV switch is set to the "VCR (DVD)" or "VIDEO" mode. You will not be
able to view your Video Stage Microphone signal if this mode is set to "TV".
6.4. To find the picture transmitted from your Video Stage Microphone we suggest one
of the following methods that will work on almost all late model VCR/DVD/s or combos.
- Press the "Channel Down" button on either your VCR/DVD or the VCR/DVD remote
control and scan below channel 2. If your don't find the MP2 Video & Sound System
image after scanning down several channels below channel 2 go to step B.
- Find the "Input" or "Source" selector button on either your VCR/DVD's remote
control or front panel and press until the Video Stage Microphone image appears. If
you cannot locate the image try step C.
- Using the VCR/DVD's Menu system on either VCR/DVD's remote control or front
panel locate the "Input" or "Source" of the Video Stage Microphone signal. If you
have trouble locating the image refer to your VCR/DVD owners manual. You may
need to use your VCR/DVD's Menu system to select either the front or rear video
input jack.
Once you have located the image on your TV, you're ready to record. Place your tape
in the VCR and press record on your VCR. If you are using DVD Recorder, place your
DVD in the DVD recorder & press record on your DVD recorder.

1. Power on/off: press the POWER ON/OFF button once to turn on the unit. Press
button again to power off the unit.
2. Hand held microphone socket: Connect the hand held microphone to the HAND
HELD MICROPHONE SOCKET.
3. Applause sound effect: You can have the applause sound effect by pressing the
APPLAUSE SOUND EFFECT button.
4. Volume control: You can adjust the headheld microphone volume by rotating the
handheld microphone volume control knob.
5. Line in socket: You can connect other audio equipment to your microphone console
for sing a-long and music jam.
6. Camera Lens: For the audiences to view your live performance. Connect the AV
cable as instructed previously, then slide the ON/OFF switch of the camera to ON
position. Besides normal video transmission, the microphone on camera will receive
and transmit your voice to connected video device.
Remarks: The connected handheld microphone and camera lens, should keep away
from TV and speaker of main base to avoid the "feedback" sound. Also disconnect the
microphone and camera when not in use.
