5.0 APPLICATIONS AND OPERATING LIMITS
The appliance is sold for the sole purpose of cutting rolls of acetate cake band into strips.
6.0 LOADING THE BAND
1) Plug the power cord connector into the relevant socket on the back of the
Mart Cutter.
2) Make sure the power switch is set to OFF, then plug the power cord into
the power socket
3) Set the switch on the back of the machine to ON. A buzzer will sound; at
this point, operating mode is set to manual.
4) Press the key to release the transport assembly (18), and insert the holder
complete with roll as illustrated earlier (see fig. 1-2 on the previous pages).
Make sure the roll is positioned so that it is centred properly, so that the
optical sensor detects it correctly. Where necessary, adjust the centring
walls (4) to fine-tune alignment.
5) Feed the band into the feed roller (10) and, at the same time, hold down
the
key until the band is pulled through by the roller and comes out the
front slot.
6) Close the "TRANSPORT ASSEMBLY" unit by lifting the roll from its seat
so that the way is clear. Press the START button to reset cutting positioning.
7) The machine is now ready for use.
