c. Preparing the pads
We recommend always using 2 pads of the same size at a time.
• Connect the pads to the appliance by pressing the press stud.
• Depending on the muscle that you wish to stimulate, move the pads closer or further apart by pulling or pushing the
belt. NB the pads must not touch once positioned.
• The belt must be handled with care. Folding it could lead to impairing sliding and electrical contact.
• Remove the pad holders: Keep the holders for storing the pads after use as this helps to protect the adhesive
sides of the pads. To remove a holder, slide your fingers under the edge of the pad and gently remove it.
• Position the appliance on the area to be treated, following the instructions detailed in the section «How to
position the pads».
• NB: the 2 pads must be placed on the same muscle in order to be effective. The place where they are positioned is
very important because they have to follow the fibres of the muscle. See the section on «How to position the pads».
If the pads do not stick to the skin, they must be rehydrated. See the section on "Maintenance of the pads".
5. How to position the pads
(see leaflet included in storage case)
Place the pads as shown in the photos, depending on the muscles that you wish to work on. For the exercise
to be effective, the pads should be placed as much as possible at the ends of the muscle.
a. Shoulder, biceps, arm
b. Pectorals Not near the heart
c. Nape of the neck, back
d. Leg, calf
e. Abdominals
f. Leg, buttocks
g. Feet Only in relaxing massage mode
6. Programming
Once the appliance is in place, sit down somewhere comfortably and select a programme.
a. To switch on the appliance, hold down the on/off button for a few seconds. The LED indicator lights will
successively turn on during 10 seconds, then turn off if no mode is selected.
b. While the indicator lights are on, select a mode: muscle-building, toning massage or relaxing massage. The
LED of the selected mode turns on.
c. The programme begins as soon as the + intensity control button is pressed. You can now adjust the intensity
to your own sensitivity. You should be able to feel the muscles contract between the pads. The muscles
remain contracted for a few seconds and then relax. Contractions should be firm, but not painful. Warning:
do not exceed your tolerance level. Exercise should never be painful.
There are 10 intensity levels. The intensity can be modified throughout the programme. When the maximum
