level has been reached, the LED lights blink 3 times. When the minimum level is reached, the LED lights
blink 3 times, then stay on and no contraction can be felt.
If you experience unpleasant pins and needles, the pads may be badly positioned and therefore not working
the muscle. All you have to do is re-position them. To do this, switch off the appliance, move the pad and restart.
If the pad is positioned correctly and the muscle is not responding, the surface of the pads may not be suitable for
the area being treated. Try to use larger pads.
d. The treatment length is 15 minutes. You can switch over to another mode throughout the treatment. All there
is to do is press the mode button. The impulses stop. Press the + intensity control button until you reach the
desired level, and the treatment will go on.
e. The more the muscles work, the better the results. As treatments go by, the muscles will be firmer and you
can increase the intensity of the exercises. Make sure, however, that the exercise is not painful.
f. The appliance will stop when the exercise is complete. You can however stop the session at any time by
using the on/off button. Then remove the pads and put them back on their holders (be careful to position them
on the right side of the holder, i.e. where the text can be read). Put everything back in the case and store in
a dry place. Always allow an interval before working on the same area again (minimum 8 hours) in order to
avoid muscle fatigue.
7. Maintenance/Replacing the pads
a. The appliance
This electrostimulation appliance requires no special maintenance. Use a damp cloth to clean it. Avoid any
clogging of the electrical contacts of the belt in order to ensure perfect functioning. If necessary, use a cotton
bud soaked with surgical spirit to clean. Never allow water to penetrate into the appliance. Do not leave it exposed to
the sun or excessive temperatures.
b. The pads
Warning: to remove the pads from the skin or from the pad holders, pull gently on the edges. NEVER pull on
the belt.
The pads have a limited service life that depends on the number of times they are used, the conditions of use,
maintenance, etc. They should then by replaced. Only use BaByliss pads with this appliance. To obtain more

c. Maintenance of the pads:
• After each use, wipe the adhesive side of the pad with a slightly damp sponge to clean it, then allow to dry in
the open air. Always put the pads back on their holders (on the side where the text is readable) and store in
a cool, dry place.
• If the adhesive side of the pad becomes over-saturated with moisture, allow the pads to dry in the open air
(in the refrigerator, for example), adhesive side up, until the pad becomes sticky again.
