8. Cleaning / maintenance
The calf's milk heater must be cleaned after every use. The heater can be cleaned using a brush (do not use wire brushes or other abrasive
cleaning tools) and lukewarm, soapy water. To clean the handle and the stand pipe, use a soft, damp cloth that must be completely free of
solvents (acetone, petrol, alcohol or similar).
9. Troubleshooting
• If the display (B1 - Pos. 1) shows error "IIII" and beeps constantly, the device is no longer heating (red control light is out (B1 - Pos. 4)).
This can be caused by the following:
• If the display (B1 - Pos. 1) shows error "EE" and beeps at regular intervals, the device has developed a fault and must not be used. It must
be repaired by a qualified electrician or the manufacturer.
10. Maintenance and repair
The device does not require maintenance, but should be thoroughly cleaned at regular intervals. In the event of a fault, the device must be
taken out of use immediately. If a repair is required, please contact a qualified electrician or send the device for repair to the manufacturer.
A faulty connecting cable should also only be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified electrician.
Electrical waste
It is up to the operator to dispose of the device responsibly after its useful life in accordance with local regulations. Consult
the relevant regulations for your country. The device must not be disposed of in household waste. Under the terms of the
EU Directive on the disposal of old electrical and electronic equipment, the device can be taken to local authority-run
refuse sites or recycling plants free of charge, or returned to dealers who offer a returns service. Correct disposal protects
the environment and prevents any possible harmful impacts on humans and the environment.
• The device has overheated, e.g. as a result of too little liquid to be heated in the container.

• The device heats up without any liquid (runs dry) and therefore overheats on its own.
