ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE RAUBASIC
1. Using pipe cutter, cut the
RAUBASIC pipe to required length at
right angles and without leaving
burrs
Caution!
Keep your hand at a safe distance
from the tool. Do not use saws or
similar devices!
2. Push stainless steel RAUBASIC
compression sleeve fully onto the
pipe end.
3. Push the RAUBASIC fitting fully
into the pipe end up to the fitting
stop.
Caution!
The pipe material must be fully
visible in all inspection holes.
4. Fully open push-in jaw by pressing
on the rear end and insert compress
part. Joining components (fitting and
compression sleeve), push-in jaw
and pipe must have identical size
designations.

5. Place RAUBASIC tool on the limit
stop (outer flange) of the stainless
steel sleeve at right angles.
Caution!
Do not touch the moving parts! Do
not tilt the tool!Start closing the jaws
by pressing the control switch.
6. Press the control switch until the push-in jaws close completely and the
piston automatically returns into the
starting position after having reached
the required clamping force. The
push-in jaw can be opened again in
the starting position.
Caution!
The clamping process may be
interrupted any time by releasing the
control switch.
7. After termination of the clamping
process, visible inspection, i.e.
whether the push-in jaw is fully
closed, must be additionally carried
out.
Caution!
There must not be any foreign bodies
(e.g. plaster or stone residues) in
between the jaws.
8. By actuation of the reset slide, the
tool may be returned into the starting
position in the case of a malfunction
or emergency.
Caution!
Only use in an emergency! If the
clamping process is aborted, the
fittings have to be dismantled!
