IMPORTANT NOTES
Notes on maintenance
Regular inspection:
Danger of injury!
Always pull mains plug or remove battery before cleaning
and inspection work
- Always keep jaw sets and cylinders clean. When contaminated, clean them
using a brush and lubricate with oil. Afterwards store the tool on a dry place.
- Before use, check the clamping geometry of the push-in jaws for damage or
visible wear. Damaged tools must no longer be used and must immediately
be sent to an authorized REHAU service center for repair.
- Slightly lubricate the pin joint, the driving rolls and its guide.
- Make sure that the push-in jaws close completely during clamping.

Compulsory inspection and maintenance interval for basic tool and
push-in jaw

and periodically maintained clamping tool.
- Compulsory checking of the push-in jaw or tool in an authorized REHAU
service center.
The compulsory due date for an inspection is evident from the test badge on
the basic tool and the push-in jaws, e.g. May/2015
