Important:
This hand blender is particularly suited to making
•
soups, purées, sauces, mayonnaise and baby
food.
It is not suitable for hard and dry foods, and
•
should not be used to make crushed ice.
Switching the appliance on and off
1.
Select the accessory you want to use and attach it to the motor unit (refer to the
previous section "Assembling and disassembling the appliance").
2.
Place the ingredients into the measuring beaker.
3.
To prevent spatter, place the blender stick or whisk vertically into the food before
switching on the appliance.
4.
Switching the appliance on:
•
a. Press the safety button (1).
•
b. Press the on/off button (2) to turn
the appliance on.
•
c. The safety button (1) can be released when the appliance starts working.
5.
Remove the accessory (refer to the previous section "Assembling and
disassembling the appliance"). Clean the appliance immediately after use.

The appliance has a safety button and will lock again when the on/off button
is released. Repeat steps 4a, 4b and 4c to reactivate the blender.
