TROUBLESHOOTING
You may solve the problems you may encounter with your appliance by
checking the following points before calling the technical service.
Problem
No Ignition
It ignites incorrectly
Noise coming when burn-
ing or during ignition
Flame turns off during
operation
Yellow flame
Unstable flame
Gas odour
Lighter not operating.
Possible Cause
No sparks.
The upper hob cover is badly fitted.
Gas supply is closed.
Gas supply not fully open.
The upper hob cover is badly fitted.
Ignition plug is clogged with foreign
materials.
The upper hobs are wet.
Flame spreader holes are clogged.
The upper hob cover is badly fitted.
Overflow food turns off the flame.
A strong current of air may have extin-
guished the flame.
Flame spreader holes are clogged.
Different gas is used.
The upper hob cover is badly fitted.
Any gas cock was left on.
Leakage from connection of gas cylin-
der to cooker.
The ends and body parts of the ignition
plugs in the upper hobs may be con-
taminated.
The channels on the upper hobs may
be blocked.
Check power supply.
Install the upper hob cover correctly.
Fully open gas supply.
Fully open gas supply.
Install the upper hob cover correctly.
Wipe off foreign materials with a cloth.
Dry the upper hobs carefully.
Clean the flame spreader.
Install the upper hob cover correctly.
Turn off the upper hob.
Wait for one minute and ignite again.
Please turn off the relevant upper hob
and check the cooking area for air cur-
rents. (open windows, etc.)
Wait for one minute and ignite again.
Clean the flame spreader.
Check the gas being used.
Install the upper hob cover correctly.
Check if any gas cocks are left open.
Make sure connections are leak-proof.
Clean the ends and body parts of the
ignition plugs in the upper hobs with a
dirt-removing material.
Clean and open the blocked channels
on the upper hobs.
