USE FOR INTENDED PURPOSE
The electric kettle is intended for heating and boiling
drinking water. It cannot be used to heat other liquids
or foodstuffs. Following the instructions is necessary
for safe installation and use of the device. The appli-
ance is intended for private use.

SAFETY RULES
•
The device can be used by children older than 8
years if they are supervised or use the device safely
in accordance with the operating instructions and
understand the hazards. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be performed by children unless they are at
least 8 years old and under adult supervision. Keep
the unit and its power cord out of the reach of children
under 8 years of age.

The appliance may be used by persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, provided they are
supervised or use the appliance safely in accordance
with the instructions and understand the hazards.

Warning! Do not lift the appliance lid while water is
boiling.
•
Warning! Close the appliance lid before boiling water.
This prevents steam from being directed to the handle
of the machine, splashing water onto other parts of the
machine.

Warning! Avoid splashing water on the base of the
mains cable.
•
The housing of the appliance may become hot during
use and needs time to cool down.
•
This equipment is intended for home use.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the device.
•
Read the entire manual before use and especially the
safety instructions.
•
Before connecting the appliance to the mains socket,
make sure that the voltage value in the socket
corresponds to the voltage of the appliance power
supply. Do not place the kettle directly under a power
outlet. The power outlet should be placed within reach
of the user.

Use the kettle only to boil water, i.e. for its intended
purpose.
•
Do not turn on a kettle filled with water above the
maximum level or below the minimum level. If the kettle
is overfilled, boiling water may spill from the kettle. Do
not start the kettle without water.
•
Do not wet the power cord.
•
The power cord should not hang freely or touch hot
surfaces.
•
Position the appliance away from other hot appliances.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Take care that the kettle's electrical connection is not
wet.
•
Caution: risk of burns! Do not touch hot surfaces and
watch out for steam coming out of the appliance. Hold
the appliance only by the handle.
•
Do not cover the appliance when it is running or hot.
•
Check the power cord regularly for damage. If the
power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a
qualified person to avoid danger or injury.
•
To avoid risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this
unit to rain or moisture.
•
This unit is for use inside a vehicle only.
•
Use the appliance on a flat, stable, dry surface that can
withstand high temperatures.
•
Use the kettle only with the original plug from the
manufacturer.
•
Make sure the kettle is turned off after boiling water.
•
Steam escaping during cooking is high in temperature
and can cause burns.
•
Be careful when using.
•
If you are giving the appliance to a third party, you must
hand over these operating instructions with it.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended, turn off the
appliance whenever you are not using it or before
cleaning.
•
Never pull on the power cord to disconnect the plug
from the power outlet, instead grasp the plug and pull
it out of the outlet.
•
Use only cold and fresh water to fill the unit.
•
If water spills on the exterior electrical components of
the kettle and base, dry them thoroughly before turning
the unit back on.
•
Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage
to the connecting cord or if it has been dropped on the
floor.
•
Always unplug the appliance after use; and in the event
of any abnormal operation.
•
Warning! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the
device in water or other liquids during cleaning or
operation. Never hold the appliance near water.
•
The lid must be closed during cooking.
•
The appliance is not designed to be operated by an
external timer or remote control system.
•
Keep these instructions and, if possible, the packaging.
