Fitting the harness

Put the harness shoulder straps in one of the two positions indicated (14) so that they
always pass over your child's shoulders (see paragraph on "Adjusting the harness").
To tighten the harness: Pull on the strap at the front of the seat (15).
IMPORTANT: A poorly fitting harness can be dangerous. You should not be able to in-
sert two fingers between the shoulder strap and your child's chest.
To loosen the harness: press the central adjuster button while pulling at the same
time on the two shoulder straps (16) (never pull on the safety pads, as these are not
adjustable).

Adjusting the harness

To adjust the shoulder height: Incline the seat as far back as possible (17) (also read
the paragraph on "Inclining the ISOFIX Car Seat").
Release the harness to give you access to the metal strap holder located between the
seat base and the ISOFIX seat (18). Remove one of the two straps from the holder (19).
Pull the freed shoulder strap through the strap hole of the seat and cover (20). You do
not need to pass the strap through the safety pad. Fold back the top part of the cover
(21). Remove the safety pad, threading the safety strap through the hole of the seat
and then the cover (22).
Pull up the harness by threading the safety strap from the safety pad into the appropri-
ate strap hole in the cover and seat. Check that the safety strap is securely fastened
in the strap hole located beneath where the strap is threaded (23). Pass the shoulder
strap back through the same strap holes and then reattach it in the strap holder (24).
Repeat the procedure for the other shoulder strap. Make sure the harness is not twisted.
Put the cover back in place.
Inclining the ISOFIX Car Seat
Push the adjustment lever located under the front of the seat upwards, then pull or
push the base towards or away from you (25).
Removing the ISOFIX Car Seat
Loosen the Top Tether Strap by pulling on the tensioner to tilt it (26) then release the
strap from its anchor point and bring the strap towards you (27). Pull the car seat using
the red handle on the ISOFIX base (28). On either side of the seat, release the ISOFIX
connectors from their anchor points by pulling the release buttons on the connectors
towards you. The indicators will turn from green to red (29) (30). The seat is now unat-
tached and can be removed from the rear side (31).
