9.0 - PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE AND DEMOLITION
Before demolishing the BLW vacuum/pressure blowers pump, it is necessary to divide the following materials:
• lubricating oil;
• parts in rubber and plastic;
• parts in cast iron and steel;
• aluminium parts;
• once separated, the items must be disposed of in an appropriate manner according to the regulations in force.
Do not discard the vacuum/pressure blowers pump into the environment.
For disposal of the lubricating oil make use of specialised treatment services.
Dispose of the used oil in accordance with the local regulations in force.
8.0 - TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSES
Air infiltration or leakage from the
system
Reversing gear incorrectly positioned
The pump is running in reverse
The pipes are poorly applied
The Ballast check valve does not work

Check the system
Position reversing gear correctly
Reversing the direction of rotation
Check the system
Examine the check valve
Clean the filter
Reduce pressure
Reduce vacuum
Rotate the pump in freeblowing mode
Verify correct functioning of ballast
system (cap + silencer + pipe + valve)
Clean the filter
Check valves
Empty secondary valve
Fix the check valve
Remove the foreign body through the
rotor inspection door
Open the hatch and wash with descaling liquid
