Remove the upper rocker panel ( not shown) on both sides for access to the Instrument panel trim .

Remove the (4) T30 Torx screws that secure the instrument panel trim to the instrument panel and the front cowl.

The Instrument panel trim is snapped to the Instrument panel at the lower end on both sides. Pull the Instrument
panel trim to disengage the snap tab See Figure 1.
9.
Disconnect the ignition wires from the wiring on the main wiring harness. Disconnect the wiring of the SOC/Fuel
Gauge from the wiring on the main wiring harness.
10.
Align the head lamp switch to the head lamp switch opening, make sure the mounting tabs are locked in place
and snap it to the instrument panel. The outer edges of the switch should be flush with the front surface area of
the trim panel.
11.
Place the instrument panel trim back in position on the car.
12.
Connect the wiring from the head lamp switch to the wiring on the main wiring harness and reconnect the ignition
wires to the wiring on the main wire harness. Connect the wiring from the SOC/Fuel Gauge to the wiring on the
main wiring harness.
