Changing the oil if oil is used in the motor K 107, K 154,
K 207, K 254, K 305 (Does not apply if the pump is
installed dry and the upper sealing compartment is left
open).
CAUTION!
In the event of inward leakage, the oil housing may be
pressurized. When removing the oil plug, hold a piece of
cloth over it to prevent oil from splashing.
Remove the oil plug. Some of the oil will drain out naturally. Pump the
remainder of the oil by means of a drain pump into a clean receptacle.
Make sure that the drain pump hose reaches right down to the bottom of
the oil housing. Examine the oil.
NOTE!
Old oil should be entrusted to an oil disposal company in
accordance with local regulations.
Lay the pump down with the oil filler hole pointing upwards. Use two cranes
for this purpose. Secure the pump with wedges from both sides. Check that
the pump is firmly retained and cannot roll away.
Fill with new oil (see table on page 50). Use BP type HPL-D46 (SAE 10-20)
or equivalent oil. Always fit a new O-ring to the oil plug. Refit the oil plug
and raise the pump.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications.
