Installation instruction
* These components are factory installed on engines supplied with servo steering.
First install the steering cylinder on the transom shield. Please refer to the separate installation
instruction. If the engine is supplied with the servo pump installed, start at item 3 below.
Servo pump installation, figure 1
1. Install bracket (2) with 1 screw (3) on the engine attachment.
2. Install the complete servo pump (1) on the bracket, using flange screw (4). Do not tighten the screw.
Install tensioner arm (5) on the transmission housing. Install washer (6) between the transmission
housing and the tensioner arm. Tighten with flanged screw (7). Install the cooling water hose holder (8)
on the inside of the tensioner arm. Fix with the flange screw (9) and nut (10). Install the nut (11). Put the
vee-belt (12) on and tighten it. Belt tension with normal thumb pressure is 5-10 mm. Tighten the screw
(4) and nut (11).

3. Cut the cooling water hoses at the coloured marks. Thread the four hose clamps over (14).
4. Install the oil cooler (13). The oil cooler does not have a special inlet and outlet side, it works just as
well in either direction.
