How It Works

This weed burner allows you to kill weeds and plants without using toxic chemicals.
Waft the flame over the weeds. The intense heat will destroy the weeds' cell structure. Most weeds will whither
and die in a couple of days.
It leaves the garden completely safe for children and animals immediately after use.
6.2
Installing the Canister on the Weed Burner
Please refer to the instructions on the gas canister.
6.3
Igniting the Burner Head and Adjusting the Flame
1. Turn the pressure regulator completely to the right (-), then turn it a half turn to the left.
2. Press the igniter [4] to light the burner [5].
3. To adjust the gas pressure, the flame temperature and flame intensity, turn the regulator [2] to the right
("-" = lower) or to the left ("+" = higher).
6.4
Using the Weed Burner
1. Hold the device at an angle of 45° away from the user.
2. Gently waft the flame approximately 5 seconds over the weed. Do not burn the plant completely, only the
heat is needed. Keep the burner head [5] at a distance of approximately 15 cm of the weed. Stronger
weeds or woody stems (wild grass, roots, etc.) may require a repeat application. If necessary, repeat this
procedure after a few days. Do not use this device on flower beds or lawns.
3. Switch off after use.
6.5
Storage
Remove the gas canister after each use, even if it is not empty. Store the device and the canister in a cool, dry
and well-ventilated place. Make sure the device and the gas canister cannot fall.
7.
Gas Leaks and Breakdown
Immediately proceed outdoors if gas can be smelt.
Check the gas leak in a well-ventilated area without heat sources. Only check for leaks and damage in the
open air. Never check for gas leaks with a naked flame but use a soap solution instead. Do not use the
device if a gas leak is suspected or if it does not function properly. Immediately cut off the gas supply: turn
the regulator [2] completely to the right (-).
8.
Gas Canisters
The burner head has a standard 7/16" thread. Only use the recommended gas canisters, which comply with
Standard EN 417. Do not use gas canisters with a different thread. The device may not work properly or you
may damage the device if you do so. Only use the device with disposable propane-butane canisters (Standard
EN 417) with removable valve. Do not use other types of gas canisters. Doing so may lead to danger. Carefully
read the safety instructions marked on the gas canisters.
