5. Wrap the threads on the top
drain body with pipe tape.
6. Screw the top drain body
into the bottom drain body.
Attach the tailpiece onto the
bottom drain body.
7. Slide the nut up the tailpiece
and fasten until a good seal
is formed.
8. Place the top cover into the drain
hole. Prepare the pivot arm by
placing the pivot arm receiver inside
the socket.
9. Insert the short end of the rod into
the drain body. Fasten the pivot ball
nut to secure.
10. Lower the pivot arm and connect
it to the drain lift rod via the
connector.
11. Adjust the position of the connector so that
the pivot arm can be moved up and down
and lifts up the drain cover.
12. Adjust the screw under the top cover to
gain the desired travel. The gap between
the cover and the wash bowl is about
3/8" (10mm). Tighten the screws on the
connector to secure the position.
13. Conduct tests to ensure the linkages are
working properly and no leaking occurs.
Adjust again if needed.
