The switch on the hand control is in the "off" position. Press the switch button so
that it is switched on.
The lifter has been run down too far and the lifting strop has twisted in the opposite
direction around the reel. Run the lifter down as far as possible and then up again
until the strop winds the right way.
Defective motor or worn pinion. Contact your installer.
