• Visual indication of the dew point status with LED indicator lights (green/
yellow/red)
• Bar graph shows risk of mould
• Double laser sighting shows the exact spot size area
• Backlight
3. Delivery contents
• Infrared thermometer
• Storage bag

• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The
uncontrolled reflected beam may strike people or animals
• Do not aim too close at hot or hazardous targets.
• Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or
recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as
possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling
leaking batteries.
Important information on product safety!

• Protect the device from high or abrupt temperature changes.
• Do not leave the device near objects of high temperature.
• Do not immerse the device in water. Water can penetrate and cause malfunc-
tion. Protect it from moisture.
• Check the housing before using the device. Do not use the device if it seems
to be damaged. Check for cracks or missing plastic parts.
• Steam, dust, smoke, etc. can obstruct the unit optics and prevent accurate
measurement.

5. Measuring procedure
• Every object releases infrared energy. The optical detector senses the infrared
energy, converts this information into a digital reading and the surface tem-
perature is displayed.
• The device also displays the ambient temperature and humidity, from which
the dew point is calculated.
• The closer the value of the surface temperature is to the dew point tempera-
ture value, the higher the risk of mould formation on the measured surface.
