NOTE 1
the rs232 M/M serial cable, which is different from the one included with
the trs5000 (M/F), can only be used to connect the tPh-cloner and the
trs5000.

the connection process, in more detail, is as follows:
1)
connect the current adaptor (110/220Vac) and its 12Vdc outlet to either
of the two female connectors on the sides of the tPh cloner (Fig.1).
2)
connect the rs232 (M/M) serial communications cable included with
the tPh cloner (Fig.2), between the tPh-cloner and the trs5000.

Finally connect the dc cable (M/M) between the tPh cloner, using the
free connection point on the side, and the trs5000.

once you have carried out the 3 steps, you can switch on the tPh-cloner
and trs5000 unit.
For communication between the TRS5000
and the TPh-Cloner to be operative, the TPh-
Cloner's status led has to change from its ini-
tial red to green.
If this does not happen, restart the TPh-Cloner,
unplugging it from the mains supply and plug-
ging it back in again.
As the TPh-Cloner takes longer to start up
than the TRS5000, switch the cloner on first.
Then, once the cloner's led has gone green,
turn on the TRS5000.
the following messages will be shown successively on the display:
1.the Firmware version for the trs5000.

Message 4 shows the different reading codes
on the display. It is only visible if the READ
button is kept pressed during the switching on
process for the TRS.
