Truma TG 1000 sinus power inverter
Safety instruction
All repairs must be carried out by an expert!
The alternator output must be at least 110 A to provide a
Truma Saphir vario or Saphir compact air conditioning unit
with an adequate power supply.
The equipment may only be used:
– In conjunction with batteries with the specified nominal
voltage in fixed installations. (minimum battery capacity
90 Ah)
– For powering mains voltage equipment up to the specified
maximum electrical output of 1000 W.
– If it is ensured that only one consumer (max. 1000 W) is
connected. No parallel operation of multiple consum-
ers. Multiple sockets must not be used. 2-pole disconnec-
tion (L and N) must take place if transfer switches are being
used.
– In rooms that are protected from water, moisture, dust
and aggressive battery gasses, and in non-condensing
environments.
The device must never be used in locations where
there is a risk of dust or gas explosion.
– If the ambient temperature is within the permitted usage
limits.
– If the ventilation openings on the cover and the front (termi-
nal strip) are exposed and not covered by luggage, towels or
clothing etc.
Check voltage-carrying cable at regular intervals for breaks,
loose connections etc.
The device must be fully disconnected during electrical
welding work and when working on the electrical system.
The device must not be opened (dangerous high voltage may
be present, even after the battery has been disconnected).
Keep children away from the power inverter!

Operating instructions
Intended use
The TG 1000 sinus power inverter has been developed for
operating a Truma air conditioning unit (e.g. the Saphir vario
or the Saphir compact) or another consumer with electrical
power consumption of up to 1000 W.
The power inverter generates an alternating voltage (sine
wave) of 230 V ~ from a direct voltage of 12 V.
