B. In "SCAN" mode, touch the selected component with the probe. It is best to
remove the tested diode from the circuit, remember to connect the diode with
appropriate probes (measuring probe "INPUT" to the cathode, measuring
probe "COM" to the anode).
C. The display will show the approximate conduction voltage of the diode.
ZENER/LED
A. Set the slide control (4) in the middle position and select the "ZENER/LED"
symbol.
B. Connect "INPUT" probe to the cathode, "COM" probe to the anode of the
ZENER/LED diode under test.
C. Read the measured value of the "ZENER" diode voltage on the display or
read the LED diode voltage on the LCD.

4.5. DC voltage measurement

D. Set the slider to the "DC 36V" range.
E. Connect the test pins, across the source or to the load for measurement.
F. The measured voltage value is shown on the display.
5. Battery Replacement.
A. If the low battery symbol appears on the display, replace the batteries.
B. Open the battery cover by pressing the bottom of the case with your
finger, replace the used batteries with new ones. The charged battery
symbol will appear on the display.
