Installation and Operation
Transmitter Front and Rear
Power LED: Indicates Power.
ARC LED: This will illuminate green when the ARC function has been switched on.
SPDIF LED: This will illuminate green when the TosLink Out port outputs the audio signal which has been
sent from the TosLink In connection of the receiver.
USB Host: Connect to a USB source device.
Push Button switch: Push the button to switch the output audio source for TosLink Out and 3.5mm Out.
Service: Reserved for future use.
24V DC: Connect the 24VDC 1A PSU to an AC wall outlet and securely connector to the transmitter or
receiver. This is only required at one side of the installation.
HDBaseT Out: HDBaseT output port. Connect a compatible HDBaseT receiver using a single Cat.6 or
above cable for all data signals. Please do not connect to a network port.
Link Indicator LED:
a. Illuminated Green: Link is Okay
b. Not Illuminated: No Link
Data Signal Indicator LED:
a. Illuminated Orange: Signal is Okay
b. Not Illuminated: No HDMI Signal
HDMI In: Connect to an HDMI source device.
IR In: Connect the supplied IR Receiver cable for IR signal reception. Ensure the remote being used is
within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
IR Out: Connect the supplied IR Transmitter Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR Transmitter in
direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
3.5mm Out: Connect to an analogue audio output using a 3.5mm cable.
TosLink Out: Connect to a digital TosLink (Optical) Output using an optical cable.
RS-232: Connect to a PC, Serial Controller or Serial device via a phoenix block 3-way connection for the
pass-through transmission of RS-232 commands.
Ethernet: Connect to an Ethernet hub or router using standard Cat.6 or above cable.
