3. Maintenance

Some maintenance is necessary in order to use the BERG product and have fun with it for a long time.
This chapter describes how, how often, and which maintenance must be carried out.

3.1 Maintenance scheme

Daily
Wheels (1)
• Check for wear.
• Clean bearings if necessary.
Brake (5)
• Check if the brake still
functions properly.

Monthly
Handlebar (4)
• Check if it is still tightly
connected to the deck.
• Check if all three height
positions can be securely
locked.
Steering mechanism (2)
• Make sure any dirt is wiped
off. Especially area marked
below by arrow.
• Check all nuts and bolts.
• Clean bearings if necessary.

Half Yearly
Handlebar (4)
• Clean the plastic parts and
check for damage.
• Check all bolts and make
sure they are still tight.
Deck (3)
• Clean the plastic parts and
check for damage.
• Check all screws and make
sure they are still tight.
