TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The device cannot be
switched on.
No mains connection
problem. The device
still does not turn on.
No sound output.
CD player is not
working properly or
"NO" appears on the
display.
Potential cause
Mains adapter is not
fully plugged into
the socket or into the
socket on the back of
the unit (DC IN).
Maybe a fuse has
blown?
MASTER VOL is turned
down completely.
The volume on the TV
set or the connected
stereo system is
turned down.
TV/stereo system are
off.
The disc is inserted
the wrong way round,
dirty, scratched or
otherwise damaged.
The disc has a format
that cannot be played
back.
Liquid or moisture
has entered the CD
compartment.
The karaoke system
has crashed and must
be restarted
Possible solution
Change this.
Check with another
device, e.g. a lamp.
Turn up / switch on.
Clean the disc, insert
a compatible media,
clean the CD tray.
Switch the unit off and
on again if all this does
not help.
