Special Requirements

Electrical equipment, including lines and plug connections should be
covered and protected from moisture.
The circuit breakers should match the generator specifications. If the
circuit breakers require replacement, they must be replaced with a
circuit breaker of the same ratings and performance characteristics.
The National Electrical Code requires generators to be grounded to
an approved earth ground. Before using the ground terminal, consult
a qualified electrician, electrical inspector, or local agency having
jurisdiction for local codes or ordinances that apply for the intended
use of the generator.
If using extension cords, follow these requirements:
1.5mm , cords should not exceed 197 ft. (60m)
