[FUNC] Key to enter the settings functions.
[PTT] Press hand hold to transmit, release to receive.
[SQL] Press and hold this key for a few seconds to open the squelch.
[CALL] Press and hold this key for a few seconds to transmit a call tone.

OPERATION:
[PWR/VOL] CONTROL:
Rotate the [PWR/VOL] knob to turn the transceiver ON/OFF and adjust the volume.
Rotate the channel selector knob to select the desired channel.

MONITOR FUNCTION:

Press and hold [SQL] key and adjust the volume with the [PWR/VOL] control. Release the
[SQL] key to turn off the squelch.
TRANSMIT/RECEIVE:
Press and hold the [PTT] and speak into the front of the radio in a normal, clear tone of
voice.
When pressing [PTT] the status LED indicators turn in red colour.
If you speak too softly or too loudly into the radio's microphone, communication distortion
may occur and the clarity of the received signal will be reduced on the other radios in their
group.
Release [PTT] to receive.
FM RADIO:
This transceiver incorporates FM radio receiver, press [FUNC] key and then press [CALL]
key to turn ON/OFF the FM radio. Use the channel selector knob to manually select the
desired radio station or press [CALL] key to automatically tune the radio stations.

EMERGENCY CALL:

Press [SOS] key, the radio will sound an alarm tone, at the same time an alarm signal will
be automatically transmitted on the selected channel. Press [PTT] to turn off this function.
