INDICATIONS FOR USE

Biodentine™ Mixer is used to activate and mix dentine substitute from Biodentine™ XP
cartridges for dental healthcare.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Preparation
1.1. Wear the usual Personal Protective Equipment and No magnet
1.2. Choose the correct cable (if applicable) and plug in the power cord to the power socket
1.3. Switch the device ON (see picture A): the START button will light on (white color) with
a beep sound
2. Activation
The activation of the cartridge is done with the Mixer and not manually
2.1. Open the lid of Biodentine™ Mixer.
2.2. Put and align the Biodentine XP Cartridge in the activation socket (see picture B).
2.3. Lock the cartridge manually by making a clockwise quarter turn (see picture B).
2.4. Manually pull the lever (see picture C and D) down through all its course, (until it stops)
a slight click may be heard.
2.5. Put the lever back to its initial place (see picture E)
2.6. Unlock the cartridge from the activation socket (see picture F step 1) by making a
counterclockwise quarter turn.
2.7. Check if the cartridge is well activated : the cartridge piston has to be pushed inside.
Warning ; if not well activated, the cartridge may fall from the mixing arm.
2.8. Once the cartridge is activated, proceed to the Mixing (1min30 max between activation
and Mixing – Refer to Biodentine XP IFU) (see picture F step 3).
