TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
The tank loses water or water comes out
of the jug cover.
The tank's metal parts are rusty.
Water comes out of the lower part
of the coffee maker.
Water comes out of the filter outer part.
The espresso coffee tastes acid
(vinegar).
The coffee maker is not working.
The steam does not make froth.
Do not disassemble the coffee maker on your own if it is faulty.

Cause
The tank is not properly on.
The tank water level is higher than the
MAX mark.
An unsuitable de-scaler has been used. It
may corrode the metal parts of the tank.
There is too much water in the drip tray.
The coffee maker is not working
properly.
There is ground coffee on the edge of
the filter.
It has not been properly cleaned after
cleaning the mineral sediments.
The ground coffee has been kept in a
hot or damp place for a long time. It has
gone off.
The cable is not plugged in properly.
The steam indicator (green light) is not
on.
The cup is too big or its shape does not
fit in.
You have used skimmed milk.
Correction
Line the tank opening up well with the opening
of the preparation container.
The tank water level should be below the MAX
level.
Use the de-scaler recommended by the
manufacturer.
Please clean the drip tray.
Please contact the authorised service centre
to repair it.
Remove it.
Clean the coffee maker's contents several
times "before using it for the first time".
Please use freshly ground coffee or keep
the unused ground coffee in a cold and dry
place. Open packets of ground coffee should
be closed well and kept in the fridge to keep
it fresh.
Plug it in properly into a socket. If the electrical
appliance still does not work, contact the
authorised service centre to repair it.
The steam can only make froth when the steam
indicator (the green light) turns on.
Use a tall and thin cup.
Use full-cream or semi-skimmed milk.
