CLEANING
• Wash all parts by hand with warm water and a regular washing-up liquid. Washing it in the dishwasher may
cause the product to wear more quickly. Always rinse all parts thoroughly after each wash.
• Avoid using abrasive products or washing with aggressive chemical solvents. If bottle brushes are used, make
sure you do not damage the more delicate parts of the product (e.g. teat openings and valves).
• Thoroughly clean under running water to eliminate any residual liquid that can nest in hidden areas.
• Sterilise before use.
• Ensure no residual liquid remains in the teat after washing or sterilisation.
• After cleaning, thoroughly dry all parts and store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources
of heat.
• The pigmentation of strongly-coloured drinks (e.g. tea, fruit or tomato juices) may alter the colour of the pro-
duct. This does not alter the function and/or safety of the product.
ASSEMBLY
• Make sure that the product is assembled correctly before use to ensure proper bottle operation and prevent
any leaks.
STERILISATION
• Before steam sterilising or sterilising in boiling water, the feeding bottle must be disassembled completely in
order to prevent it from deforming and to ensure that boiling and sterilisation are effective.
• The product can be sterilised using cold sterilisation solutions, steam sterilised using suitable equipment or
sterilised by boiling for 5 minutes, avoiding contact with the metal walls of the receptacle used.
• UV sterilisers are not recommended. Sterilising with UV sterilisers may cause the product to wear more quickly.
WARMING THE BOTTLE
• To warm the content, we recommend using a bottle warmer after removing the cap and referring to the bottle
warmer instruction manual.
• Take extra care when microwave heating the feeding bottle:
• Remove the cap, the ring and the teat before placing the bottle in the microwave oven: risk of explosion.
• If you use a combination microwave oven, ensure that the grill is off.
• Localized over heating can occur: always mix the heated liquid to ensure even heat distribution and check the
temperature before feeding to prevent scalding.
• Do not heat the product in traditional ovens or on hot plates or open flames.
Plastic baby bottles: Can be placed in the freezer. Remove the teat and use the appropriate cap for storage.
• Pour the milk in the container taking care not to exceed the maximum capacity indicated on the graduated
scale; tighten the airtight cap and store the container in the fridge or in the freezer.
• The milk can be stored for 48 hours in the fridge and for 3 months in the freezer. We recommend storing the
milk in the fridge or in the freezer immediately after expression.
• Do not refreeze thawed breast milk.
• Do not add fresh breast milk to frozen breast milk.
• Remove the cap and/or the non-spill cup from the container when heating the milk or any other food and/or
beverage. Do not leave the container in a hot water bath or in the bottle heater with the water boiling.
• You can heat the container in a microwave by removing the teat, ring, cup, and cap.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Cause
Valve or diaphragm not assembled or
badly assembled
The breast pump is
not pumping or is not
pumping enough
The breast does not fit in the pump body
Painful expression
The suction mode is too high
Solution
Ensure that the valve and the diaphragm are
assembled correctly
Position the breast pump better for the breast to
fit properly and ensure that the nipple is centred.
Try with/without the soft silicone cushion
The suction mode depends on how you press
the handle and on the speed of the movements
of the grip.
Change the speed and the way you hold down
the handle to find greater comfort during stimula-
tion and expression.
