1 BEFORE PROCEEDING
WARNING: Read all the instructions completely before proceeding. Pfister
recommends calling a professional if you are uncertain about installing this product!
This product should be installed in accordance with all local and state plumbing and
building codes.
WARNING: This product has been designed for use with the Pfister 49 series
lavatory widespread faucet. It will not work with any other product. Please review the
Pfister 49 series installation instructions before installing this product.

2 SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY
Locate water supply inlets and shut off the water supply valves. These are usually found
under the sink or near the water meter.

3 TOOLS RECOMMENDED
• Plumber's putty
• PTFE Plumber's Tape
• Flashlight
• Cloth
Your installation may require new supply lines and / or shut-off valves or other additional
tools.

4 CHECKING THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX
Upon opening the box, check to ensure that all of the following items are included.

5 VALVE PREPARATION
Remove existing Washers (5A) from Valve Body (5E). Insert Stem Extension (5B) into
Valve Stem (5C) and secure by threading Screw Adapter (5D). Insert Valve Body (5E)
through Adapter Extension (5F). Secure with Set Screws (5G) by using a
Wrench. Be sure Flat Surfaces (5J) from End Body (5E) are aligned with Set Screws
(5G). Do not over tighten! Place Rubber Washer (5H) onto Adapter Extension (5F).

6 VALVE BODY INSTALLATION
From above sink, insert Valve Body (6A) through Mounting Holes (6B). The HOT valve,
labeled with Red Tag (6C), should be positioned to the left side of the spout.
