External clock sync
METRO can use its internal clock or an external one. In order to use an external clock signal from another
module, connect a cable between that module and the
menu (steps or euclidean), you will see that the word "BPM" is replaced by:
tempo read in the

potentiometer 2 (TEMPO). Under the symbol there is the final tempo in BPM (it is already divided). The
detection limit is between 40 and 220 BPM, but you can even get slower values by using the divisor. (E.G.:
40 BPM / 4 = 10 BPM).
METRO also detects when the external clock module is paused. After 1.5 seconds, the pause symbol will
appear. Then, if the external module starts playing again, METRO will detect it and reset all sequences and
sync all ratios.
Important: You need to wait at least 1.5 seconds in order to autoreset and sync the sequences. If not, the
sequencer will start but not synced. You don't need to wait if you are using METRO's internal clock.

In this case, the external clock
module sends a signal of 184 BPM.
METRO reads it and divides it by 2:
184/2 = 92 BPM.
