Attention:
• When operating the dehumidifier, make sure that the target humidity is not
set higher than the ambient humidity.
• When the corresponding indicator lights up, empty the water tank and then
reinsert it. The device will then continue to work.
• If the unit has been switched off, please wait at least 3 minutes before
restarting the unit to avoid damaging the compressor.
• The applicable operating temperature range for this instrument is 5-35°C.
• If the dehumidifier cannot start (the indicator light does not illuminate) or if the
dehumidifier switches off unexpectedly, please make sure that the plug is firmly
connected to the power supply. If the plug and the power supply/socket are in
perfect condition, wait 10 minutes before restarting the unit. If the unit still does
not start after 10 minutes, have it repaired by your local service center or the
manufacturer.
• When the dehumidifier is in operation, the compressor will generate some heat and
can therefore slightly increase the ambient temperature. This is completely normal
and does not need to unsettle you.
• When the device defrosts, the corresponding control lamp lights up.
• The device indicates the ambient humidity during operation. If the ambient
humidity is higher than RH95%, the display will show "HI"; if the ambient humidity
is lower than RH35%, the display will show "LO".
Empty water tank:
When the water tank is full, the Comedes Demecto 10 automatically switches off and
the red LED (Tank "Full" indicator, fig. 3) lights up. You must empty the water tank in
order to put the Demecto 10 back into operation.
