Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Read this user
manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety
regulations outlined below, before installing and using this
appliance for the first time.
Safety instructions
• Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was de-
signed for, as described in this manual.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by in-
correct operation and improper use.
• Keep the appliance and electrical connections away from wa-
ter and other liquids. If the appliance falls into water, remove
the power supply connections immediately. Do not use the
appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician.
Failure to follow these instructions will cause life threatening
risks.
• Never try to open the housing of the appliance yourself.
• Do not insert objects into the housing of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance near any open flames, explosive or
flammable materials. Always operate the appliance on a hori-
zontal, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.
Battery safety instructions
• DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Dry batteries must not be
re-chargeable or throw in the fire or short-circuited.
• Do not expose batteries or appliance to extreme temperature
such as from direct sunlight or fire. Do not place the product
on a heating source.
• If batteries are already leaked, remove them from the bat-
tery compartment with a clean cloth. Dispose the batteries
in accordance with the provisions. Avoid to contact the leaked
battery acid.
• The batteries are to be disposed of safely.
• CAUTION! There is a danger of explosion if the batteries are
inserted incorrectly. Use only the same battery types. Do not
use old and new batteries together and of different type from
different manufacturer.
• Always insert batteries in accordance (+) and (-) polarity as
illustrated in the battery compartment.
• Batteries are life-threatening if swallowed. Store all batteries
out of the reach of the children. Seek medical help immedi-
ately if batteries are swallowed.
• Do not allow children to change batteries.
• Remove the batteries when you are not going to be using the
product for a long period of time.
Intended use
• This appliance is designed for weight measuring. Any other
use may lead to damage of the appliance or personal injury.
• Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be
deemed a misuse of the device. The user shall be solely liable
for improper use of the device.

Preparation before use
• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
• Check that the device is in good condition and with all ac-
cessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please
contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the
device.
• Clean the accessories and the appliance before use.
• Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
• Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant
surface that is safe against water splashes.
• Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in
the future.
• Keep the user manual for future reference
NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit
a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does
not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is
well ventilated.
Operating instructions
Weighing
(Fig.1 on page 3)
• Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA battery in the battery compartment at the
back side of the display or plug in the power supply with a
USB type-C cable.
• For optimal results, place the scale on a flat surface.
• Turn on the scale by pressing the On/Off button (1) , An "0.00"
will appear on the display and the scale is now ready for use.
• Select the desired measuring unit by pressing the Mode but-
ton (2). In this way you can choose between lb, lb & oz, and kg.
• Set an empty bowl or container on the scale. The display will
now indicate the weight of the bowl or container.
• Press the TARE button (4) to reset the scale to "0.0".
• Place the product to be weighed in the bowl or container and
read its weight on the display
• You can weigh various products in the same bowl by pressing
the TARE button (4) after adding each product, which will re-
set the display to "0.0" each time. Remember not to exceed
the maximum weight of 200 kg.
• If you want to "hold" the display figure, press the hold button
(3) once. To release the "hold" function, press the hold button
(3) once again.
• Turn off the scale by pressing the On/Off button (1).
• If you do not use the scale for 5 minutes, it will enter into
sleeping mode.
• The power will be supplied by the cable when it is plugged
in, even the AAA batteries are still in the product. For safety
reason, It is recommended that the batteries to be removed
when the cable is plugged in.
