USEFUL FACTS
What does TDS mean?
TDS is the abbreviation for "total dissolved solids" and refers to the total amount of all dissolved
solids (minerals, salts or metals) in a specific amount of water. It is measured in milligrams per litre
(mg/l) or parts per million (ppm).
The lower the TDS value, the better the body's cells can absorb the water molecules. The higher the
TDS value, the greater the chance that the water contains pollutants that could damage your health
or prevent the absorption of water molecules into the cells.
Why use a TDS measurement device?
The TDS device incorporates the latest CPU technology and thus automatically calibrates itself to
the temperature. The measurement range is between 0 and 9990 ppm with an accuracy of +/-2%.
The hold function makes it possible to read off the measurement value easily. The TDS measurement
device switches off automatically and thus preserves the batteries.
