1. SAFETY WARNINGS

ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො To protect against electric shock, never immerse any appliance, the mains lead or plug
in water or any other liquid.
ො Never reach for any appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off the power at the
mains immediately and unplug. Do not re-use.
ො Avoid placing the appliance where the power cord might be accidentally caught, or the
appliance maybe knocked into a sink.
ො Ensure that your hands are dry before operating the switch or turning off. Ensure the
appliance is switched OFF before connecting to the mains power supply.
ො Do not touch the hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
ො Do not carry the appliance by the cord or pull thte cord to remove the plug from the
socket.
ො If the appliance stops unexpectedly or appears to malfunction, unplug from the mains
and discontinue use immediately.
ො Keep the appliance and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects or anything that
may cause damage.
ො Keep all ventilation slots clear of debris and do not cover. Never drop or insert objects
into to the openings.
ො Do not use outdoors. This appliance is designed for domestic house hold use only.
