General Storage Instructions

• Clean the equipment and accessories
carefully before storage.
• Keep the equipment in a dry and dust-
proof place out of reach of children.
• Do not store the equipment on the
protective cover; ideally hang it from
the top handle.
• Remove the rechargeable battery from
the device before storing the device.
Disposal and protection
of the environment
Remove the battery from the device and
take the device, battery, accessories and
packaging for environmentally friendly
recycling.
Machines do not belong with
domestic waste.
• Return the unit to a recycling centre.
The plastics and metals in the unit can
be sorted and appropriately recycled.
Ask our Service Centre for details.
• Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.

Guarantee

• We guarantee this equipment for 24
months.
• This equipment is not suitable for
commercial use.
Commercial use will invalidate the
guarantee.
• The guarantee does not cover damage
caused by natural wear, overloading or
improper use. Certain components are
subject to normal wear and not cov-
ered by the guarantee. These specifi-
cally include the: metal cutting blade,
thread reel, cutting thread, thread cut-
ter, air filter and spark plug.
• The guarantee is also conditional on
adherence to the instructions on clean-
ing and maintenance.
• Damages caused by material or manu-
facturing defects will be corrected free
of charge by the provision of a replace-
ment or by repair.
This is conditional on the equipment
being returned to the dealer undisman-
tled and with proof of purchase and
guarantee.

Repair Service

• Repairs not covered by the guarantee
can be carried out by our service cen-
tre for a fee. Our service centre will be
happy to produce a cost estimate for
you.
We can handle only equipment that is
sent in with adequate packaging and
postage payment.
• Caution: In case of complaint or ser-
vice, please send your equipment
cleaned and with an indication of the
fault to our service address.
Equipment sent freight collect – as
bulky goods, by express or other spe-
cial freight – will not be accepted.
• We will dispose of the defective equip-
ment sent to us, free of charge.
