Setting up
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
To avoid the risk of damage caused by heat and the risk of fire in the immediate
vicinity of the appliance when it is switched on, always ensure that...
►
the appliance is always at least 50 cm away from walls, furniture and other
objects while in use;
►
no objects are suspended above the appliance while it is in use (e .g . lamps);
►
there are no easily inflammable objects (e .g . materials/textiles) in the vicinity
of the appliance while it is in use;
►
the mains cable 3 and the hotplate 1 are not located close to hot surfaces
or naked flames;
►
the mains cable 3 cannot come into contact with the hotplate 1;
►
no moisture and/or liquids can get into the hotplate 1 . Otherwise there is
a risk of fire and electric shock!
Place the appliance on a clean and level heatresistant surface . Each person
should have unimpaired access to the wok pans 5 .
Before first use
1) Clean all parts of the appliance that come into contact with food regularly
as described in the section "Cleaning and care" . Make sure that all parts
are completely dry before operating the appliance .
2) Set up the appliance as described in the section Setting up .
Operation

The appliance and the accessories in use become very hot during operation .
Touch only the controls and the handles during operation .
1) Plug the mains cable 3 into the hotplate 1 .
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket .
3) Switch the appliance on using the On/Off switch 4 . The integrated operating
light lights up .
4) Preheat the appliance for about 8–10 minutes without the wok pans 5 .
