Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all
its features and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If
any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before
attempting to use this tool
Mounting The Electric Hoist
• Use the Mounting Brackets (4) to fix the hoist to a suitable beam as
described in the safety instructions. Ensure the fixings are fully tightened
once mounted
• Always mount the hoist in the horizontal position and never in the vertical
position
NOTE: To mount this hoist correctly and ensure it is safe to operate, it will
require more than one person to mount the hoist.
Attaching the return pulley
1. To mount the Return Pulley (11), remove the bolts and pin clip holding
the Return Pulley Hook (12)
2. Feed the cable around the roller of the return pulley and attach the
main Lifting Hook (9) to the Hook Holder (10) on the main body
3. Re-align the Return Pulley Hook (12) and replace the bolts and pin clip
NOTE: Ensure that the return pulley is correctly attached. When correctly
attached the hoist has a lifting capability of 250kg. Without the return pulley
its lifting capacity is reduced to 125kg.
Operating Instructions
Operation Guidance
• Never move the Operating Switch (2) directly between
switch must be moved into the central (off) position between each up or
down operation
• If the hoist is unable to lift the load, stop immediately as it is overloaded
Loading the Hoist
• Before loading ensure that the hoist is positioned directly over the load.
Failure to do so could result in the load swinging freely once elevated
• Ensure that the load is free to move and is not restricted by anything. If
the load is restricted this will cause the hoist to overload and potentially
cause severe damage. This may also invalidate the warranty
• The load must be firmly and securely attached to the Lifting Hook (9)
of the hoist
NOTE: Ensure that the operating switch is in the off position so that the hoist
will not attempt to lift the load whilst being connected.

NOTE: Be aware of the maximum lifting capacities and height limitations
stated in the specifications.
• When the hoist reaches its height limitation it will automatically turn off
Lowering the Load
1. Before attempting to lift the load, ensure that whatever you plan to
lower the load onto is capable of supporting the load, and that it is
sufficiently stable and ready to be loaded
2. Lower the load by pressing the Operating Switch (2) into the
position
3. Gently lower the load ensuring that the load stabilises
4. Lower the Lifting Hook (9) an extra 30cm to ensure that there is
enough cable slack to disconnect the loading hook
5. Once the load has been fully disconnected from the hook, lift the hook
clear of the load
NOTE: When lifting the hook clear, ensure the cable winds onto the spool
correctly and does not cross over itself.
WARNING: If at any point during the hoist's operation someone enters
the operating area or the load becomes unstable, press the Emergency
Stop Button (3) immediately. To release the emergency stop button rotate
it clockwise.
Maintenance

parts to wear quickly, shortening the machine's service life. Clean the
body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth. If available, use
clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes
