– If the screws and anchors provided are not suitable for the material of the wall, obtain the correct type of
screws and anchors. Failure to do this may result in the product falling off the wall.
– Do not subject the product to impacts or drops, or expose it to flammable materials or a heat source, or to
moisture or splashing liquid, and do not immerse it in liquid.
– Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean it.

The EC Marking on the device, certifies its compliance with the CPR european reglementation 305/2011 and with
the EN14604 standard.

2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

DF-Somfy helps protect you and your home around the clock. It has been specially designed for monitoring
private homes (houses, flats).
Whenever smoke is detected, a powerful audio alarm is triggered
DF-Somfy is not a gas detector.
3. RECOMMENDED LOCATIONS
For optimal protection:
– Place a detector in each room. Avoid locations that are given as not recommended in section 4.
For basic protection:
– Place one detector on each floor.
– Place a detector near sleeping areas (for instance in the corridor leading to bedrooms; with corridors in excess
of 10 m long, place a detector at each end).
– Place a detector in each bedroom belonging to a smoker.
