Do not autoclave the handpiece, even if it is bagged, together with other instruments, from which the chemicals are not sufficiently clean.
This is to avoid discoloration and/or damage to the plating of the handpiece.
10 > REPLACING CARTRIDGE
Disassembling the cartridge
• Mount a test drill in the chuck.
• Place the key in the head cap, turn the key counterclockwise and remove the cap.
• Push up the test burr and the cartridge is easily removed from the spindle.
• Clean the inside of the head, when dirty, with MAINTAIN series spray oil.
Inserting the new cartridge
• Place the new cartridge in the rear cap, then insert the cartridge with the cap into the handpiece head.
• Screw the rear cap securely onto the handpiece head, then use the cap wrench to make sure the cap is
CAUTION
The head screw thread is very fine. To avoid breakage, the use of the first thread wrench is not recommended.
Before inserting a new cartridge, clean the inside of the head.
