Turning off the device

The 9-pin COM1 plugs are assigned by default as follows:

Pin Function
1 JDCD
2 RxD
3 TxD
To turn off your G-ST 8000+, proceed in the following order:
1. Close all applications and click Start in the taskbar.
2. Select Shut down and press OK.
The operating system will now shut down and all data will be stored.
3. Next, turn your device off completely by disconnecting the power
source.
