Failure to comply with the safety instructions may result in the endangering of people as well
as the environment and the facility. Failure to comply with the safety instructions may lead to
loss of any claims for damages. The operator of the facility must ensure that the contents of
the manual, especially the safety instructions for the operators, are known. A risk assessment
of the areas of application is to be carried out.
General information
The device must not be operated in potentially explosive areas.

Monitor re-fueling process thoroughly

When the system is not in use turn off the electric vane cell pump.
−
Protect device from damage and the effect of strong heat.
−
Ensure that you have a secure grip on the pump.
−
In order to prevent oil spilling onto the floor do not use vane cell pump in the rain.
−
Always keep the work area clean and free of oil.
−
Instructions for preliminary actions / handling
Observe safety data sheets for hazardous substances (e.g. diesel, fuel oil) used.

Protective gloves made of leather and goggles must be worn during use.
−
Do not bend hose sharply.
−
Instructions for repair / maintenance
The vane cell pump works maintenance free.

Regularly check the pressure-bearing components (pressure hose and nozzle) as well as the

current-carrying parts of the installation for any damage.
Defective parts must be replaced immediately.

Hydraulic hoses are to be changed by the manufacturer.
−
Use of non-original accessories, e.g. hose lines, can in isolated cases pose the risk of accidents.

In case of accidents or damage caused by foreign parts liability cannot be accepted.
Modification or alteration of the device is only permitted after consultation with the manufacturer.

The reliability of the device is only guaranteed when used as intended.

Maintenance, inspection and repair work must only be performed by qualified personnel.

Before carrying out any repair or maintenance work, break off the power supply (unplug mains
−
plug) and relieve pressure lines. De-pressurise the system by opening the dispensing nozzle
after energy separation.
