If you smell gas:
Shut off gas to the appliance.

Extinguish any open flames.

Open the lid.

If the odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your gas supplier or your fire department.

Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

An LP cylinder not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

Never operate the grill unattended.

Never operate the grill within 10 ft. (3.05 m) of any structure, combustible material, or other gas cylinder.

Never operate the grill within 25 ft. (7.62 m) of any flammable liquid.

Do not fill the cooking vessel beyond the maximum fill line.

Heated liquids remain at scalding temperatures long after the cooking process. Never touch the grill until liquids have

cooled to 115 ºF (46 ºC) or less.
This grill is not intended for and should never be used as a heater.

If a fire occurs, keep away from the grill and immediately call your fire department. Do not attempt to extinguish an oil
»
or grease fire with water.

Your grill will be very hot. Never lean over the cooking area while using your grill. Do not touch cooking surfaces, grill

housing, lid, or any other grill parts while the grill is in operation or until the gas grill has cooled down after use.

Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor, plumber, or gasfitter qualified or

If using a ball valve, it shall be a T-handle type.

A flexible gas connector, when used, must not exceed 3 feet (0.91 m).

Grill Installation Codes
Check your local building codes for the proper method of installation. In the absence of local codes, this unit should be installed
in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases,
ANSI /NFPA B149.2 or CSA B149.1 Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, and the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
Correct LP Gas Tank Use
LP gas grill models are designed for use with a standard 20 lb. (9 kg) liquid propane gas tank, not included with the grill. Never
connect your gas grill to an LP gas tank that exceeds this capacity.
