MAINTENANCE
To reattach:
Insert the roller brush into the beater bar assembly.
Align the tabs on the cap to the notches on the assembly
and firmly press the cap into place.
NOTE: Make sure the opposite end of the roller brush is
aligned to the drive spindle when pressing the cap into
the assembly housing.
Turn the end cap clockwise until it clicks into the locked
position.
CLEANING A JAMMED BRUSH ROLL
The brush roll is designed to stop spinning if it becomes
jammed with debris.
To reset:
Turn hand vacuum OFF and remove the battery pack.
Remove roller brush as described Removing the Roller
Brush for Cleaning.
Inspect roller brush and its end caps for any obstructions.
Clear obstructions if present
Reinstall the roller brush.
After the motor has cooled for 30 seconds, reinstall the
battery pack to resume vacuuming.

CLEANING/REPLACING THE FILTER
See Figures 4 and 8, page 8.
Remove the battery pack.
Remove dust bowl from hand vac. Pull to remove filter
housing and filter from dust bowl.
Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove from filter
housing. Turn clockwise to lock in place.
Remove the filter from filter housing. Shake or lightly brush
any dust or dirt off the filter.
Shake or lightly brush any dust off the filter housing. Wash
if necessary.
Empty the dust bowl; wash if necessary. Before
reattaching to the hand vac, make sure all pieces are
completely dry.
NOTE: Allow 24 hours for parts to dry completely.
When purchasing replacement filter, request recommended
part number HAHV33.
